I’ve got another podcast drop for you this week. My favourite think tank, on many days, is the Public Policy Forum, whose office used to be down the office from ours when I worked at a magazine. They’ve got a great podcast, called Wonk, which was hosted for a time by former PPF CEO Ed Greenspon and is now hosted by the veteran business journalist Amanda Lang.
Amanda asked me to come on her pod to talk about the election campaign and what happens next. I’m pretty eager to get on to other topics, but this episode ties a neat bow on all that stuff. Plus, in the nature of this conversation, we actually did get on to other topics anyway, including my tentative impression that our politics might be getting more civil, after going the other way for more than a decade. Partly thanks to Elon Musk, who runs such a ramshackle social network that it’s become a less effective place to round up a gang than it used to be.
I’m glad for this chance to let you know about Wonk, which lives on all the same platforms The Paul Wells Show lives on and would be a good addition to your listening list.
