Great news Paul, but being more of a reader than a podcast person I do hope you don’t give up on your Substack posts. I’m really enjoying them. All the best.
Thanks, Rob. That's another reason why I'm working with a bunch of people for the podcast: So I'll still have lots of time to write the newsletter. Poilievre and Trudeau are each addressing their caucuses on Monday. I'll write here about how that goes.
Looking forward to these. I note your comments on the style of interview...I hope that there is going to be a bit of 'accountability' and that you will challenge your interviewees to provide some evidence or at least experience to back up their assertions.
I'm a reader more than a viewer. I rarely watch interviews because so often they seem to be about the interviewer scoring points. One does not learn much about the interviewee or the topic at hand if the person must constantly be on the defensive. I shall watch the beginning of Mr. Wells' podcast series with interest in the hope that the less combative style he describes brings illumination to important topics.
Great idea, Paul. You've always been an exceedingly sharp interviewer. Also conversation is a public good.

Well Paul I will certainly give your podcast a listen. All the best wishes. God save the King.
A conversation "with Joe Biden's ambassador to Washington?" He's that alienated from his own seat of government?
Oops.
I've just submitted a comment' WHERE IS IT ??
Paul. I'm awfully late in responding to this new idea.
I'm not a Podcast sort so will stick to SUBSTACK.
I will tell you that I enjoy when you are a Panel Guest
on CBC's Power and Politics.
This new podcast will keep you up to date on what's happening
in Canadian Politics, (?) as you seem to have lost that edge
you had while writing articles for McLeans Magazine.
Your last two/three appearances have certainly improved !!
Keep up the good work...we need reporting we can TRUST !!
Deaf guy here. Is it possible to generate subtitles?

Looking forward to the podcast; greatly enjoying the newsletter.
Congratulations Paul! I can't wait! You're my favourite Canadian journalist!
Should that no be "Ambassador to Ottawa" and not Washington?
I can't wait! Go full James Lipton! Inside the Policy-Maker's Studio!

Can’t wait to listen. I’ve been enjoying my subscription to your Substack. I’d love to hear Bill Fox as a guest on your pod. Cheers!
This subscription is a bonus now a podcast, too! Looking forward to it.
Would you consider a paid ad-free version of the podcast? (I’ll listen either way)
