With respect to the Canadaland cross pod (discussion about substack) The part about being a new platform for journalism is most important, but the part about freedom of speech and moderation the most interesting & complex. One of the best presentations of this question I have experienced is at the Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg, in a lightly interactive installation about the Keegstra case in Canada - it traced the history of this specific story with pauses, each started with a question to the viewers - although the display might be leading to a particular conclusion, these discussion points could allow the viewers to come to a different destination.
