The Panel: Majority noise

Our mildly partisan partisans discuss the new Carney hegemony. Also: Gladu! Avi! Diploma snark!

It’s been too long and it’s all my fault, but here’s The Panel — Marci Surkes, Garry Keller, Allison Gifford — to talk about life under a Liberal majority government led by Mark Carney.

What’s going to happen on Parliamentary committees, where the Liberals haven’t commanded a majority and where most committee chairs weren’t Liberals — and still aren’t? What happened with Marilyn Gladu? (Garry has an anecdote.) What will happen in the Senate? What’s going on in Pierre Poilievre’s head, and in the Conservative Party more broadly? Will Avi Lewis change everything, or for that matter, anything?

Of course most of our answers contain an element of speculation. That’s half the fun. Thanks to our panelists for joining, and to you for watching. Have a great weekend.
