Pierre Poilievre floods the zone
I’m in Vancouver preparing for Friday’s Paul Wells Road Show, which isn’t yet quite sold out, so you’ll have to look elsewhere for detailed summaries of Pierre Poilievre’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. Of course, you could watch for yourself, as I still plan to. Many people are. I don’t tweet but I look occasionally at X, and it was fun watching so many colleagues live-tweet the show as it was streaming.
I thought it’d be a good moment to ponder why politicians do this sort of thing, and not only Poilievre. I’m not sure this post from 11 months ago got as much attention as the topic deserved — especially, as is sometimes the case, from other journalists. Here it is again:
