Thank you, Mr. Wells. I agree that Mr. Carney is trying to do big things, something that we haven't seen in Canada for decades now. He may succeed or he may fail, but at least he's trying -- and at significant political cost. I salute Mr. Carney's bravery.

Canada must diversify its trade. Pierre Trudeau realized that at the very end of his time in office, and tried a whirlwind global tour. Of course that failed. Since then, Mr. Harper negotiated TPCPP and CETA, which was a good first step. But now we need the infrastructure to deliver. What's more we need an attitude that welcomes taking risks to achieve our goals.

Unfortunately, we Canadians are showing an appalling lack of unity. Province against province. After nine months of what some called an existential threat from the United States, we still don't have interprovincial free trade in services -- services that make up 75% of our GDP. How's that for pulling together?

Sorry Paul. I am so bloody tired of the "carbon debate". Carbon = life on earth. Period. CO2 = LIFE on earth. I am so tired of people using the word CARBON as a bogey man. If there wasn't carbon - or CO2, planet earth would not be Planet Earth. Fossil Fuels DO not cause Climate change. Period.
